Whodini was a hip-hop - eFunk band from New York City , USA . The group, founded in 1981, consisted of three members Jalil Hutchins, John Fletcher and Drew Carter. Whodini was one of the first rap groups to bring R&B and electric guitar sound ( Fugitive from Back in Black , 1986) to their songs.
They were successful in the early and mid 1980s. Since 1982 they were signed to the then still indie label Jive Records . During this time they had success with songs like Magic's Wand , The Haunted House of Rock and Friends . In total, they released six albums.
