The volleyball community WiWa Hamburg is an amalgamation of the volleyball departments of the registered sports clubs Wandsbeker Turnerbund , Bramfelder Sportverein and the game and sport club Wichern-Schule. The top women's team played in the first division in the 2006/07 season and today in the third division north . The top men's team was also qualified for the 3rd division north in 2012, but disbanded before the season and was withdrawn. A dozen other teams play in different leagues of the Hamburg Volleyball Association.
