history

The Nighthawks were founded as a pure American football team in 2012. They played in various minor leagues before they withdrew from American football due to financial problems and since 2015 they have been participating as an arena football team in the Indoor Football League (IFL).

After a weak first season with only 4 wins out of 16 games, they reached the IFL playoffs in the second year of 2016 with 11 wins and 5 losses. In the first round they finally lost to the Cedar Rapids Titans with 36:66.

Although the 2017 season ended with 12 wins and 4 losses, the playoffs were narrowly missed.

Stadion
