Wiebke von Carolsfeld
Wiebke von Carolsfeld (* 1966 in Germany ) is a German film editor , film director , screenwriter and film producer who works for Canadian film.
Life
Wiebke von Carolsfeld studied at the University of Cologne . After completing her studies, she worked as an assistant editor for Canadian film and was able to make her debut as an editor for a feature film in 1996 with the cobbler, directed by Colleen Murphy . After directing and writing the two short films From Morning on I Waited Yesterday (1998) and Spiral Bound (2000), she made her debut in 2002 with the drama Marion Bridge as a director for a feature film, for which she received a Chlotrudis Award for Best Discovery in 2004 . For her editing work on the drama Eisenstein , she was nominated for the best editing with a Genie Award in 2002.
