Location of the Wielandhof in Obertraubling before the demolition

The Wielandhof was a farm in the village center of Obertraubling , Regensburg district , Bavaria, which was mentioned in a document as early as 1294 .

The Wielandhof is one of the four Urhöfe Obertraubling. While the other original farmsteads were depopulated and decayed during the Thirty Years War or the subsequent waves of plague , the Wielandhof was preserved next to the parish church of St. Georg on Regensburger Straße until it was demolished in August 2013. From 1438 a so-called Tafernwirtschaft is occupied in what was then known as Kreuzhof . From 1953 to 2008 the farm belonged to Josef Wieland. Until 2001 there was a restaurant in the building. Neither the municipality nor the owner had the farm entered in the list of monuments despite its historical significance. The Wieland-Gutshof last consisted of the residential building with a former restaurant, barn and stable with granite columns and Bohemian vaults. In place of the demolished yard, an investor is planning four three-story buildings with underground garages for residential and commercial use.
