The Vienna Basketball Association (WBV) is a regional association of the Austrian Basketball Association (ÖBV). He works on promoting, practicing and organizing basketball in Vienna .

- Organization, implementation and supervision of competitions, games of the association selections and events of the member clubs
- Representation of the rights and interests of the association in offices, affiliated national associations and other organizations
- Financial and sporting support for the member clubs, also by awarding prizes
