Wieprecht von Kropff

Wieprecht von Kropff (born July 16, 1908 in Germershausen , † 1978 ) was a German district administrator.

Live and act

Wieprecht von Kropff studied law and was initially a government trainee with the Kassel district government . On May 1, 1933, he joined the NSDAP and became head of the gauche. In April 1936 he was appointed government assessor and transferred to the Neuwied district office. A year later he came to the district government of Schneidemühl , in April 1938 he was temporarily employed by the Reich Commissioner for Pricing. In April 1939 he became a member of the government and, on the intercession of the NSDAP Gauleiter Josef Wagner , deputy district administrator in Lippstadt on 13 June 1940. After the provisional appointment on August 17, 1940, the definitive appointment as district administrator of the Lippstadt district followed on April 24, 1941. He remained in this office until March 16, 1945, when he was seconded to the liaison office of the Reich Defense Commissioner in Wetter by the District President Arnsberg .

Von Kropff went into early retirement in 1949. His grave is in Oberweimar near Marburg an der Lahn .
