Historical landscapes of Estonia

Virumaa ( Wierland in Low German ) is a historic landscape in northeast Estonia . It formed a district in the Estonia Governorate . Today it is divided into two groups:

1. Lääne-Viru ( West-Wierland )
2. Ida-Viru ( East Wierland )
