Viktor Konstantinowitsch Sereschnikow

Viktor Konstantinowitsch Sereschnikow (born November 24, 1873 , † June 27, 1944 ) was a Soviet philosopher.

He studied law in Saint Petersburg until 1897. From 1907 to 1912 he was in exile because of revolutionary activities. In 1918 he became a professor at the Communist Academy in Moscow. He was a co-founder and the first rector of the Smolensk University. He was arrested during the Stalin Purge in 1938 and died in prison in 1944.
