Viktor Semyonovich Ivanov

Viktor Semjonowitsch Ivanov (born November 11, 1909 in Moscow , † November 26, 1968 ) was a Soviet poster artist.

Viktor Ivanov completed his training until 1929 at the Moscow Art School and at the DN Kardovsky studio. From 1938 he took part in exhibitions. From 1933 to 1941 he also designed film sets (e.g. for Lenin 1918 ). During the Second World War Ivanov created numerous propaganda posters. In 1946 and 1949 he was awarded the State Prize of the USSR.
