Wilbur Burroughs
Wilbur Burroughs ( Wilbur Gordon Burroughs Sr .; born June 13, 1884 , † August 6, 1960 in Granite City , Illinois ) was an American athlete .
In the discus throwing competitions of the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he was eighth in the Greek style and tenth in the free style. In the shot put , he did not come in the top eight.
In the tug of war at the Games in London , he finished fifth with the US team.
