Irmgard Edle from Traitteur

Irmgard Elisabeth Edle von Traitteur (born April 15, 1926 in Nuremberg ) is a German politician ( CSU ).

Traitteur attended elementary school in Karlstadt and Nuremberg and the girls' secondary school in Nuremberg, where she graduated from high school. She was an electrophysical laboratory assistant in the Siemens research laboratory in Nuremberg and then worked in labor and war operations in Upper Lusatia . In 1945 she returned to Nuremberg. This was followed by the establishment and operation of an atelier for children's fashion in downtown Nuremberg. From 1961 she was volunteering in the maternal convalescence work as local chairwoman and in Caritas as chairwoman of the district association. She was also a member of the diocesan board and the central council.

Traitteur was a member of the women's union in the local and district executive as well as the CSU as a member in the district executive and in the European Union in the district and district executive. From 1982 to 1990 she was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
