Wilburgis
Wilburgis or Wilbirg (* around 1225 near St. Florian near Linz ; † December 11, 1289 in St. Florian ) was a cleric and mystic.
Life
Wilburgis lost his father and mother as a child, was very sick and suffered great pain. At the age of 17 she made a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela . After her return in 1248 she was locked in a cell next to the collegiate church of St. Florian , where she lived for 40 years and worked as an adviser to many people.
