History and description

The house was built in 1905 according to plans by the Griesheim architect Georg Gerhardt. The large two-storey stone house with an urban nimbus has simple decorative forms from the Wilhelminian era . The roof is covered with beaver tail .

Monument protection

As a rare example in Griesheim, the house documents the bourgeois living culture in small towns during the early days. For architectural, architectural and city-historical reasons, it is a listed building .
