Wilhelm Behncke (District Administrator)

Wilhelm Ludwig Behncke (* around 1859, † 1928 ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Wilhelm Behncke studied law at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen . In 1879 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Tübingen . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. In 1887 he passed the government assessor exam with the government in Potsdam . From 1892 to 1919 he was district administrator for the Norderdithmarschen district . Most recently, until his death in 1928, he lived in Kiel .
