Wilhelm Füßl

Wilhelm Füßl (born August 16, 1955 in Altenstadt an der Waldnaab ) is a German historian and archive manager.

Life

Füßl received his doctorate in 1986 at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich under Eberhard Weis with a thesis on the legal philosopher Friedrich Julius Stahl . Since 1992 he has been director of the archive of the Deutsches Museum in Munich .

His research interests are in the history of technical collections and the interactions between biography and the history of technology and science.
