Wilhelm Mauer (District Administrator)

Wilhelm Johann Ernst Mauer (born September 8, 1864 in Saalfeld (Saale) , † September 18, 1942 there ) was a German administrative officer and syndic.

Life

Wilhelm Mauer studied law at the University of Jena . In 1885 he became a member of the Corps Franconia Jena . After graduation and the doctorate to Dr. jur. he entered the service of the Duchy of Saxony-Meiningen . In 1889 he was a trainee lawyer. He then became a district assessor in the Saalfeld district . Between 1900 and 1904 he was appointed district administrator for the Saalfeld district.

After the First World War he worked as a syndic in Saalfeld .
