Wilhelm Rollmann (inventor)

Wilhelm Rollmann (* 1821 ; † 1890 ) was a German inventor. He invented the first 3D projection process in Leipzig in 1853 , which he called anaglyph . With this method it was possible to view stereoscopic 3D images.

A similar process was invented by Charles d´Almeida in 1858, and success began when Louis Ducos du Hauron used it in 1891 for printing.
