Wilhelm Stich
Wilhelm Heinrich Stich ( 1794 in Berlin - October 3, 1824 there ) was a German theater actor .
Life
August Wilhelm Iffland , to whom he confided in order to hear his judgment about his talent, trained him himself for the stage, which he represented at the Berlin court theater in 1797. He worked there until his death and distinguished himself as a bon vivant. Stich was one of the most excellent performers at the royal institute. His marriage to Auguste Crelinger was to be fateful for him. He believed that his wife had betrayed himself with Count Blücher, and there was a heated exchange of words that degenerated into violence. The artist was badly wounded and died after a short time.
From this marriage came two daughters who also became actresses: Clara and Bertha Stich .
