On the islands of Zeeland around 1520 and later, especially in the area of church architecture, numerous late Gothic buildings were built in brick, which is easily available for the region. The building known today as Wilhelmina's Oord stands on an L-shaped floor plan and was probably intended as a residential building in an agricultural environment. To the north, the facade is representative. The door opening shows a profiled brick door frame and the window in the gable is highlighted by a pointed arch cover. Next to the door is the year 1589 marked with wall anchors. The other house walls are now partially plastered.
