Will Hoge
Will Hoge (* 1973 in Nashville ) is an American southern rock musician .
Hoge spent his childhood in Nashville and initially planned a career as a high school teacher, but later dropped out in favor of his musical career. In the mid-90s he founded his first band, which was unsuccessful. He later toured the southern United States with Dan Baird and caught the attention of Atlantic Records , who first re-released the independently produced first album Carousel and in 2003 released the album Blackbird on a Lonely Wire . Since Atlantic promoted the album only moderately, Hoge asked for the termination of his contract and released a number of albums initially self-published, in order to later get a contract with Rykodisk Records and the album Draw The Curtains to be released. After an accident in August 2008, Hoge first had to take a break to recover from his injuries. In 2009, however, he was able to release the next album The Wreckage .
