Willi Weyer (soccer player)
Willi Weyer (born June 18, 1918 in Cologne , † January 24, 2010 in Neuss ) was a German football player .
Career
Willi Weyer was one of the players who played their first game on February 15, 1948, two days after 1. FC Köln was founded . In the 8-2 win against Nippes in 1912, Weyer scored a goal and wore the captain's armband.
Weyer played 28 times for FC in the regional league and scored eleven goals. In 1949 he rose with FC in the Oberliga West , where he played one more season before he left the club. In this league he was used 40 times for FC, but scored only one goal. From 1951 to 1954 he played for Fortuna Düsseldorf in the league.
