William Bonner (Author)

William "Bill" Bonner (born September 8, 1948 ) is an American journalist and author . He publishes in particular on economic topics.

Career

In 1979, Bonner founded a publishing company in Washington, DC that was named Agora . In the following years, he expanded the company into eight other countries and employs over 1,000 people. In 1999 he also founded a daily newsletter with Addison Wiggin , which appears under the name The Daily Reckoning .

Investor-verlag.de publishes the free capital protection file newsletter , which contains a German translation by Mr. Bonner. The newsletter archive can be accessed retrospectively until May 2006.

Together with Wiggin, Bonner appeared as a book author. In 2004 the two published Financial Reckoning Day , in 2006 Empire of Debt was published . He later wrote the work Mobs, Messiahs, and Markets with Lila Rajiva , which won the getAbstract International Book Award in 2008 . The books were distributed worldwide and some were translated into other languages. In April 2011 his fourth book Dice Have No Memory was published , which was one of the bestsellers on amazon.com shortly before it was published. In addition to his newsletter, he writes articles and comments for newspapers such as The Wall Street Journal , The Economist and the Financial Times .
