William Eduard Kraft
William Eduard Kraft († 1878 ) was a German manor owner and politician . He was a long-time member of the Saxon state parliament .
Life
In 1838 the shopkeeper and house owner Kraft , who came from Leipzig , bought Oberrabenstein Castle near the city of Chemnitz from Georg Ludwig Freiherrn von Welck . While this was in his possession, the patrimonial jurisdiction was replaced in 1855 . Between 1848 and 1859 he was several times deputy member of the manor owners of the Erzgebirge district in the II. Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament, then from 1862 until his death he was elected member of the manor owners in the I. Chamber. After his death, his widow had the inherited property ordered by a tenant before it was sold to the Chamberlain von Ried in 1900.
