William Levy (actor)
William Levy Gutiérrez (born August 29, 1980 in Cojímar ) is a Cuban actor.
Levy went to the United States at the age of fourteen and attended Barbara Goleman Senior High School . With a baseball scholarship, he began a business degree at St. Thomas University , which he dropped out after two years to study acting in Los Angeles, Miami and Mexico City.
From 2003 he worked as a model for the Next Model Agency . Shortly thereafter, he successfully participated in reality shows such as Isla de la Tentación and Protagonistas de Novela 2 on Telemundo . He made his acting debut in 2006 on Spanish-language television in Mi Vida eres tú and Olvidarte jamás . He became known through Pasión (2006) and his leading role in the telenovela Cuidado con el Angel (2008-09). This was followed by roles in television productions such as Sortilegio (2009), Triunfo de amor (2010-11) and La Tempestad .
After the success in Dancing with the stars with partner Cheryl Burke , Levy also became known to the English-speaking audience and worked in Hollywood productions such as The Single Moms Club (2014), Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016) and The Veil (2017) With. In 2019 he had the leading role in Matías Moltrasio's film En Brazos de un Asesino .
