William Neal (composer)

William Neal is an American composer.

Neal studied musical theater at the University of Miami and worked as a singer and actor for several years. He founded Virgo Audio Production Services and began to record and record his own works under this name. His multimedia musical comedy Divas! was performed at the ASCAP Music Theater Workshop in Miami under the direction of Stephen Schwartz .

In 2002 his debut album Moderate Extremism was released . Following promotional tours for the album, Neal studied computer music in New York University's music technology program with Robert Rowe , Joel Chadabe , Luke DuBois, and Dafna Naphtali . Then he created computer compositions and sound art works such as The Big Fiasco , Shanghai's Underwater , Civil / Union and Despite Protestations . In 2009 he released the album Clarity . As a live musician, Neal has performed in numerous cities in the USA, in Amsterdam and Berlin. He is a member of ASCAP and the Audio Engineering Society .
