Beaumont ( Beu Mont in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 114 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The community is a member of the community association Tulle Agglo . The inhabitants call themselves Beaumontois (es).

geography

The community is located in the Massif Central and is surrounded by extensive forests. The place lies on the river Vimbelle , which is also called Ruisseau du Rouillard here .

Neighboring municipalities of Beaumont are Madranges in the north, Saint-Augustin in the east, Orliac-de-Bar in the south, Saint-Salvadour in the south-west, Chamboulive in the west and Le Lonzac in the north-west. The prefecture of the Tulle department is located around 25 kilometers south.
