William Sackville, 11th Earl De La Warr

William Herbrand Sackville, 11th Earl De La Warr (born April 10, 1948 ) is a British nobleman .

He is the eldest son of William Sackville, 10th Earl De La Warr and his wife Anne Rachel Devas. He was educated at Eton College and worked as an investment banker . When his father died on February 9, 1988, he inherited his title of nobility, as well as the Buckhurst Park family seat , along with a farm and extensive estates. Buckhurst Park is open to the public.

With his titles of nobility a hereditary seat in the House of Lords was connected, which he held until the House of Lords Act 1999 .

In 1978 he married Anne Pamela Leveson, who was divorced that same year from her first husband, 4th Marquess of Linlithgow . He has two sons with her:

  • William Herbrand Thomas Sackville, Lord Buckhurst (* 1979)
  • Edward Geoffrey Richard Sackville (* 1980)

He also has two step-sons from his wife's first marriage.
