William Scott (athlete)
William Scott (born March 23, 1886 ; date of death unknown) was a British long-distance runner .
In 1912 he won silver at the Cross of Nations . At the Olympic Games in Stockholm, he did not reach the finish line in either the cross country or the 10,000 m final .
In 1911 and 1912 he was English champion over ten miles .
