The Willy-Brandt-Platz is a central place in the Dortmund downtown.

It is located northeast at the foot of the Reinoldikirche . The central structure on the square is the Reinoldikirche tram stop , a glass and steel structure with a steel pylon above. The Willy-Brandt-Platz borders in the south on the two main shopping streets of Dortmund, Westenhellweg and Ostenhellweg . Here the square with the Europabrunnen opens up to Kleppingstrasse.

Up to April 2008, three overground tram lines ran on the square in the east-west axis. With the completion of the underground light rail line in spring 2008, the square was redesigned.
