Willy Brandt Prize for Contemporary History
The Willy Brandt Prize for Contemporary History (until 2011: "Willy Brandt Prize for the Promotion of Young Scientists") is a science prize that is awarded every two years by the Federal Chancellor Willy Brandt Foundation . German or English language research work that deals with the person Willy Brandt or topics of his politics is awarded. The award winners have the opportunity to publish in the foundation's own series of publications “Willy Brandt Studies” or, alternatively, receive a grant for printing costs.
