Willy Niethammer
Wilhelm Niethammer (born May 18, 1914 in Oberndorf am Neckar , † March 14, 1991 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Career
Niethammer was born in 1914 as the son of a worker in Oberndorf am Neckar. Since 1949 he was a member of the municipal council of Bochingen, after the municipal reform for a few years of the city council of Oberndorf am Neckar. In 1978 he was awarded the ring of honor by the city of Oberndorf am Neckar.
In 1964 he moved to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg , to which he belonged for two terms until 1972. In 1972 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon, and in 1981 the Medal of Merit of the State of Baden-Württemberg.
