The Wilsdruffer Straße 12-22 is a building complex in Dresden on the northern side of the western part of the Wilsdruffer Street between the former Freßwürfel and the Palace of Culture . The buildings were widened towards the Altmarkt with a corner facing Schloßstraße .

description

The complex was built in 1959/1960 by the architects Herbert Schneider and Hans Konrad (urban development). The architects Gerhard Müller and Lorena Johne provided the designs. The interior design was done by M. Gersdorf. It is a seven-story building, five of which are residential and two are shop floors. The building was built with 153 apartments as an "arcade house". The facades are plastered and have sandstone structures. The shops are two-story with sandstone arcades.
