Wim de Boer

Wim de Boer (born January 13, 1938 in Amersfoort ) is a Dutch politician of the GroenLinks .

Life

Boer was initially a party member of the Progressief Sneek and sat from 1974 to 1982 for this party in the local council of Sneek . Boer then moved to the PPR , whose party chair he was from 1981 to 1985. Since 1990 he has been a member of the GroenLinks party . From 1990 to 2003 Boer was a Senator in the First Chamber of the States General for GroenLinks. His two daughters, Helen de Boer and Magreet de Boer, are politicians for the GroenLinks at the local level.
