Winch (mechanics)
In technology, the winch is a device for lifting and lowering or for pulling loads in various designs.
It works on the principle of the corrugated gear , combined with a lever (e.g. on the crank).
Examples:
- Stick winch with a rack and pinion winch
- hydraulic as a hydraulic jack
- Loading winch, nautical for lifting the load
