The Windsburg , also called Windsberg or Windeberg , is an abandoned hilltop castle, presumably west of today's Pirmasens district of Windsberg in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The castle was built by the Knights of Windsberg and mentioned in 1386. The Counts of Zweibrücken are named as other owners . In the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648) the castle was destroyed. The castle complex, which can no longer be precisely located, could have been a spur castle .
