Winfried Schoeller (born February 23, 1941 in Posen , Warthegau ) is a German SPD politician .

education and profession

After attending elementary school and grammar school, Winfried Schoeller passed the Abitur in 1963. Until 1967 he studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Aachen. He then studied psychology, political science and sociology at the University of Bonn until 1972. From 1970 he was a qualified psychologist. From 1972 onwards, Schoeller became an employee of the Federal Labor Office and head of the psychological service of the Düren employment office. From 1976 he was a member of the board of directors.

Winfried Schoeller has been a member of the SPD since 1968. From 1968 to 1970 he was deputy chairman of the local SPD association in Zülpich. From 1974 he was a member of the Euskirchen sub-district executive and since 1976 chairman of the Euskirchen SPD sub-district. Schoeller was on the council of the city of Zülpich from 1969 to 1976, from 1970 to 1975 he served as parliamentary group chairman. In 1970 he became a member of the Euskirchen district council and in 1975 deputy parliamentary group chairman.

From 1968 to 1970 he was a member of the student parliament of the University of Bonn. He was also a member of the Workers' Welfare Association from 1973 and of the Public Services, Transport and Traffic Union since 1974.

Winfried Schoeller was a member of the 8th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from May 28, 1975 to May 28, 1980, which he entered via the state list.
