Winfried Veelken

Winfried Veelken (* 1941 ) is a German lawyer .

Life

After receiving his doctorate in 1974 in Bielefeld and his habilitation in 1986 at the University of Hamburg , he was a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. From 1991 to 2006 he held the chair for civil law, commercial and economic law, copyright and industrial property protection, international private law and comparative law in Erlangen .

His main research interests are German and foreign, European and international business law.
