history

Wingmaster was first launched in April 1998 with issue number 1. From issue number 8, the “in detail” logo was added to the title. From issue 33, in 2006, the logo changed and the name of the magazine was changed from Wingmasters to Wingmaster .

subjects

Wingmaster only publishes model reports on military aircraft. The magazine focuses on aircraft models from the two world wars and occasionally construction reports on jets and helicopters. The disassembled models are shown using illustrations. The authors of the articles take real machines with their pilots as models and then build them and show how they give the model the final touch through the right colors and subsequent aging. The magazine's program also includes contemporary history topics in connection with aviation, the latest from the model building scene, new models and reviews of literature. Recurring themes are the Messerschmitt Bf 109 , Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D , Supermarine Spitfire and North American P-51 Mustangs .
