Winston A. Reynolds
Winston Allin Reynolds ( 1922 - March 14, 1985 in Santa Barbara, California ) was an American Romanist , Hispanic and Mexican scholar.
life and work
Reynolds received his doctorate in 1957 from the University of Southern California with the work Hernán Cortés in heroic poetry of the Spanish Golden Age (Spanish: Hernán Cortés en la literatura del siglo de oro , Madrid 1978). From 1955 he taught at the University of California at Santa Barbara , from 1962 to 1965 as Chairman of the Institute for Spanish and Portuguese and from 1970 as Full Professor.
