The United States participated in the Winter Paralympics in 2018 in Pyeongchang some 9 to 18 March 2018 with 74 athletes (including six escort runners) in five sports and nine disciplines.

In addition to the sledge ice hockey team with 17 athletes, the team included five wheelchair curlers (three men, two women), 23 alpine skiers (sixteen men, seven women), fifteen cross-country skiers and biathletes (nine men, six women) and fourteen snowboarders (nine Men, five women).
33 athletes took part in the Paralympics for the first time. Among the 41 participants in previous games were 12 Paralympics winners and 22 winners of other medals. Five participants have already contested their fourth Paralympics. The sledge hockey team was the defending champion after winning the Paralympics in 2010 and 2014 and was able to prevail against the team from Canada in the overtime final.
With 13 gold, 15 silver and 8 bronze medals, the US athletes were the most successful national selection ahead of the neutral athletes from Russia and the Canadian team. The most successful athlete within the US team was Oksana Masters with two gold, two silver and one bronze medal. Kendall Gretsch and Brenna Huckaby also won two gold medals each . With one gold, four silver and one bronze medal, David Cnossen was the most successful male US participant in the 2018 Paralympics.
