Winter Paralympics 2018 / Participant (Austria)

Austria took part in the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang from March 9th to 18th, 2018 with thirteen athletes, ten of whom were alpine skiers (eight men, two women), two snowboarders and one cross-country skier.

The swearing-in and farewell of the Austrian Paralympics team took place on February 20, 2018 in Studio 44 of the Austrian Lotteries .

Claudia Lösch was the standard bearer at the opening ceremony on March 9, 2018 .

Patrick Mayrhofer , the flag bearer at the closing ceremony, won the first ÖPC medal in snowboarding with silver in the banked slalom .
