Wintermond is a German rock band that was founded in 2004.
founding
Wintermond was founded at the beginning of 2004. Band founder Didic founded the project to implement his own musical ideas after his previous band broke up. Originally, Wintermond was intended as a pure solo project, but a duo then developed when Gabrielle joined in 2005 for the female vocal parts.
In the course of 2008 the band was again fundamentally expanded. Now Luk, Julian and Chris joined them so that Wintermond could also perform live.
In the middle of 2011 Wintermond expanded her lineup again with the keyboard player Maren, who, however, left the band at the beginning of 2012 for personal reasons.
successes
As a duo, Didic and Gabrielle released the demo long players Blood Red and One Drop of Bliss . With a drop of bliss they applied for the "Sonic Seducer's Battle of the Bands Contest" in 2007/2008. The song Für die Ewigkeit achieved number 1 in the magazine's readers' choice.
