The Winterthurer Woche (also called WiWo ) was a free weekly newspaper from Winterthur . In 1999 it had a WEMF- certified edition of 61,703 copies and was published by Eulach Verlag. The newspaper was distributed in the city and region of Winterthur. Its publication was discontinued in 2002 because the previous publishers retired. The newspaper was taken over on September 4, 2002 by the previous competitor Winterthurer Stadtanzeiger . A year later, the Winterthurer Zeitung was launched as the indirect successor to WiWo .
