The Winterthurer Stadtanzeiger is a free weekly newspaper in Switzerland and appears every Tuesday. The newspaper has a WEMF - certified circulation of 46'93 (previous year 50'433) distributed or 7 (previous year 0) sold copies, which are distributed to households in the city and region of Winterthur , and a reach of 47,000 (Previous year 45,000) readers (WEMF MACH Basic 2018-II). It was created in the 1930s. The city gazette was published by Ziegler Druck- und Verlags-AG until around 2010 .
The city gazette was taken over by Zürcher Oberland Medien AG in 2015 and integrated into the new regional news website zueriost.ch from April 4, 2016 . The previously used website www.stadi-online.ch (registered 1999) is automatically forwarded to the zueriost.ch website . This currently belongs to the Zürcher Oberland Medien.
In October 2018 it became known that Zürcher Oberland Medien AG had sold the Winterthurer Stadtanzeiger to Zeitungshaus AG from Christoph Blocher . At the beginning of 2019, the newspaper is to be integrated into the Winterthurer newspaper , which is already owned by Zeitungshaus AG .
