Wisurich von Passau

Wisurich von Passau (* unknown; † 777 ) was the 5th bishop of Passau from 770 to 777 .

Not much is known about the life and work of Wisurich. Like his predecessor, Anthelm , he was German. In 770 he took part in the regional synod of Dingolfing. He made several valuable acquisitions for the Diocese of Passau . During his pontificate the bones of Saint Valentine were transferred from Raetia to Passau.
