Vladimir Filippovich Gorodetsky
Wladimir Filippowitsch Gorodezki ( Russian Владимир Филиппович Городецкий ; born July 11, 1948 in Alexino, Smolensk Oblast ) is a Russian politician . He was mayor of Novosibirsk between 2000 and 2014 .
Before he was elected mayor, Gorodetsky was deputy mayor under Viktor Tolokonsky for many years . When this became the governor of Novosibirsk Oblast , Gorodetsky was elected as the new mayor. In 2004 and 2009 Gorodetsky was re-elected. In March 2014, Gorodetsky was appointed acting governor of Novosibirsk Oblast. Following the September 14, 2014 election, which he won, he was sworn in as governor on September 24. He resigned on October 6, 2017, and Andrei Trawnikov was appointed as his acting successor .
