Wladimir Wassiljewitsch Tschamow ( Russian Владимир Васильевич Чамов ; born April 4, 1955 in Moscow ) is a Russian ambassador .

Life

Vladimir Tschamow graduated from the Moscow State Institute for International Relations in 1977 . He joined the foreign service in 1980. From 1995 to 1998 he headed the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow . From 1998 to 1999 he was accredited at the embassy in Beirut . From 1999 to 2002 he was counselor in Baghdad . From 2002 to 2005 he headed the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow.

Vladimir Wassiljewitsch Tschamow is married and has two sons.
