Wladislaw Borisovich Kormschtschikow

Wladislaw Borissowitsch Kormschtschikow ( Russian Владислав Борисович Кормщиков; born July 15, 1967 in Perm ) is a former Russian orienteer ski runner .

Kormschtschikow won his first individual medal at the 1994 World Championships in Non Valley . Over the long distance of 17.7 km as the crow flies, he came third behind the Italian Nicolò Corradini and the Norwegian Lars Lystad . With the Russian season he was also third. Two years earlier he had run into second place with the CIS relay team. In 1998 (with Nikolai Bondar , Eduard Chrennikow and Wiktor Korchagin ) and 2000 (with Andrei Gruzdew , Korchagin and Chrennikov) he finally won the relay gold. In 2000 he was also world long distance champion.
