The residential and commercial building at Hauptstrasse 198 is a listed building in Heidelberg .

It was built in 1707. Since 1963 there has been a supermarket on the ground floor, the City-Markt Rüdinger.

The three-story house with a hipped roof is located in the eastern half of Hauptstrasse , the most important street in Heidelberg's old town , on the corner of Mittelbadgasse. The representative baroque façade facing the market square has arcades and four window axes with ear windows on the two upper floors. There is a Madonna from 1747 on the piano nobile. Three arcades continue on the simpler, elongated side facade of Mittelbadgasse. Inside, some baroque stucco ceilings have been preserved.
